The Society of Professional Journalists invites college students to a day-long boot camp to reacquaint them with the fundamentals of great journalism and give them the prosâ€™ insider secrets to getting great stories, writing spectacular headlines, shooting stunning photos, copy-editing like a demon, and covering a beat like nobody else.
The boot camp is a great opportunity for student reporters, editors and photographers to brush up on skills, learn vital new ones and make great professional contacts that will be important launching pads for future job searches.

The boot camp is free and open to any college student in the St. Louis metro area. Lunch will be provided. Street parking or Laclede Garage available.
