How Journalists Practice The Craft

How does a journalist create meaning from what appears to be the mundane? Or find the compelling story out of the cacophony of voices and images?

Join Adam Allington, general assignment reporter at KWMU, and Bill Smith, retired Post-Dispatch reporter, in a freewheeling discussion about their techniques and processes in finding and telling a story, regardless of the medium. Tim Logan, a business reporter at the Post-Dispatch, will moderate the discussion.
